WHO WE ARE

I am an ICU nurse located in the outdoor recreation paradise that is Northwest Montana and I have a passion for exploring the backcountry. I have two dogs that are my loyal trail companions. My dogs, along with my Healthcare and Science background, were the inspiration for my freeze-dried backcountry dog food business, Trail Dog Cuisine.

Freeze drying ensures optimal nutrient and food quality integrity, while offering an extensive shelf life. The limited ingredients in our product are intentionally selected to provide a macro and micronutrient profile that  supports the rigorous needs of active dogs. We focus on eliminating unnecessary bulk from nutrient poor ingredients and select only top of the line ingredients. With no garbage fillers, great quality meats, and select vegetables to round off the nutrient profile, you can be assured that our pucks were thoughtfully designed to give our trail dogs the best when they need it the most.

Kibble is heavy and lacks the nutrients that your dog needs to perform at their highest level in the backcountry. Trail Dog Cuisine is packed full of high quality fat and protein to provide sustained energy. Our pucks' lite weight, combined with the puck form, make it perfect for long backpacking trips and other outdoor adventures.
